Mr. Kaster started his legal career at a major national law firm. He then worked at a mid-sized regional firm before starting his own practice in 2010.

Mr. Kaster is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley, the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California and the Conservatorship, Guardianship, Probate and Trust section of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and has served as a volunteer attorney at Legal Assistance for Seniors in Oakland.
